Lookbook #5: 80s Trad Goth
“Goth” began as a music-based subculture in the late 70s, similar to punk and new wave. While the gothic style of music and dress was born in the UK, it quickly spread to other parts of the world, fed by a universal fascination with the macabre. Usually accompanied by black makeup, dark clothing, fishnets, and rosaries, being goth involves embracing individuality and otherness. Goth has undeniably evolved and diversified over the years and therefore has no particular look or requirements, but at least try to name 3 The Cure songs!
